The Bullpups meet the Clemson
Frosh at 3 p.nt. on the Sanford
Stadium turf. Magill noted that the
entire group of quarterbacks was
ready to go. He also said that this
year s ends were the best in recent
seasons.
Confidence was written on Coach
Griffith’s face as he jotted down his
starting lineup for the Clemson game.
During the last three years the Bull-
pups have gone 1-1-1 against the
Baby Tigers. In 1957 Georgia won
18-0. In 1968 the score was 0-0
and in 1959 Clemson won 18-0.

Seven TV Stations To Carry
1960 Georgia Football Films
Georgia's defending Southeastern
Conference champion football team
and '59 Orange Bowl champions are
being featured on a soven-stntion
state television network this fall.
Coach Wallace Butts is doing the
on-the-air commentary of the game
action, assisted by Ed Thtlcnius, vet
eran sports announcer who brings
Bulldog football to radio fans each
year.
WAGA-TV in Atlanta carries the
show from 12 to 1 p.m. each Sunday
(following Saturday’s game).
Five other stations show the games
from 5 to 6 p.m. each Sunday. These
stations are WRDW-TV, AugUBta
WMAZ-TV, Macon; WSAV-TV, Sa
vannah; W ALB-TV, Albany, and
WRBL-TV, Columbus.
The other station is WGTV, Ath
ens, which carries the film Monday
night at 10 p.m.
