Twins On University Campus
Make Students Look Twice
Professors and Students alike find twins confusing. Don and Dan
Davis, pictured above, are typical of several sets on tlie University
Campus.
If you think you’ve been seeing double lately, you re right. There
art* several sets of twins on campus.
Dan and Don Davis, radio and TV
majors from Toccoa, represent one
such set. These identical twins have
always been inseparable in every
thing they do. The only difference
between them is that Don wears a
wedding band while Dan is free and
'likes ’em all."
Don married the former Ernestine
Barton last year. She is presently
living in Toccoa. Don now shares an
apartment with Dan at 227 Oconee
Street.
A PAIR and a half of twins live
in North Myers. The pair is Linda
and Peggy Hawkins of Columbus,
and the “half” is Pat Loflin, Augus
ta, whose brother Bill lives In Reed
Hall. The differences of the Hawkins
twins out-number their likenesses.
Both girls were very active in high
school, and both are Chi 0 pledges;
but this is where thtir likenesses
end.
Peggy is majoring in nursing,
Liddy in the School of Education;
Peggy is 5' 10", her sister 6' 2";
Peggy lives on the first floor, Liddy
on the second, thus giving them more
of an opportunity to make new
friends.
THE LOFLIN twins share a com
mon interest in 4-H work. The fol
lowing facts point out the differ
ences between the two. Pat, a 4' 10"
brunette, plans to major in home
ecomomics, while her 5' 8" brother
is a business and pre-law major.
These three sets of twins are ty
pical of the others on campus. They
all have their likenesses, yet, all are
striving for individuality.
