Gamma Sigma Sigma Chooses Officers
Gail Gilbert, Rossville, was re
cently elected president of Gamma
Sigma Sigma, national service so
rority.
Other officers are the following:
Louise Hubert, Athens, first vice
president; Julia Fuller, Atlanta,
second vice president; Patsy Brad-
berry, Abbeville, S. C., secretary; and
Sandra Best, Macon, treasurer.
The organization is currently
sponsoring the annual March of
Dimes campaign on campus.
The will present the Ugly Man on
Campus trophy at the March of
Dimes dance at Memorial on March
4.

Georgians are preparing for the
last big week-end before finals with
a round of parties.
Dave Gardner’s concert will take
precedence Friday evening. The re
nowned comedian will give a two-
hour performance,
sponsored by IFC,
at eight in Fine
Arts Auditorium.
That same eve-

"J" and “Q” at the
Navy School will
have semi-formal
receptions from 8-
11 at the Officers’
Club.
More costume
parties are in store for Saturday
night: The DPhiEs will be devils for
an evening at Charlie Williams’; the
SDTs plan to revert to childhood at
a “Kiddie Party” at Parson's; and
the Phi Delta will have a "Bowery
Ball” at their house.
Casual dances have been planned
by several groups: PtKA at their
house; Alpha Gamma Rho at the
“Y” Camp; Sigma Nu at their house;
and the Student Center “March of
Dimes" dance from 9-12 at Memorial
ballroom.
SAE and KA will have an informal
dance at Moina Michael, and the Al
pha Kappa Psls will journey to the
VFW at Watkinsville for their in
formal party from 7:30-12.
Members of The Red and Black
staff will have a casual supper party
from 6-12 at Charlie Williams.
All activities will be from 8-12
p.m. unless otherwise stated.
