Bradberry Qains Spodight
A brown eyed, -smiling math major from South Carolina steps
into the senior spotlight position for this week. Patsie Bradberry
from Abbeville, is presently practice teaching at Ilichard Arnold
Junior High School in Savannah where she is instructing eighth and
ninth grade algebra classes.

If you think you’re tired after
the last few weekends of fun and
parties, just wait till this one gets
underway! Looks like the only
thing Mother may get on her day
is a feeble call from her tired
offspring.
PI Kuppa Alpha will choose its
new sweetheart during their “Dream
Girl Ball”, Friday night at Moina
Michael. The weekend begins with a
banquet at 7 p.m., followed by a
dance from 9-12 p.m., and a break
fast concludes the evening. Saturday,
there is a jam session at Charlie
Williams’ from 3-5 p.m., plus a cas
ual dance from 8-12 p.m. The
"Olympics” provide music for the
closed weekend.
Four sororities are planning
dances to enliven the social outlook.
The ADPis' and Kappas' w-ill combine
at Charlie Williams’ Friday night,
for an open casual dance featuring
the “Shooters". Lee Dorsey will be
on the lawn of the <"lii Omega house
the same night providing music for
an open dance that’s semi-formal,
while the AOPis’ will dance to the
music of the "Vibrations” and the
“Four Steps of Rhythm” at Moina
Michael Saturday night. All begin
at 8 p.m.
The Plii Dolts' are going casual
Saturday with a closed jam ses
sion starting at 2 p.m.. featuring the
"Zippers.” Same time, same day, the
"Vibrations” appear at the D Phi E
house for an open casual dance.
"Shipwreck" will be the theme for
the weekend at the TEP house. Fri
day's activities include an open jam
session from 4-6 p.m. at the amphi
theatre with the "Twisters”, and a
closed casual dance at the house be
ginning at 8 p.m., featuring the
“Clovers.” Saturday, they’re having
a luau at Lake Welbrook where the
“Don Thompson Combo” will enter
tain. It starts at 6:45 and is closed.
The Dolts' dine at Parson's Supper
Club Friday night, with a formal
dance following. Music will be fur
nished by the “Pedroes”, and the
closed banquet and dance will begin
at 6:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. respectively.
Just a thought to those of you
who might feel guilty if you don’t
make it home—if Mom likes to dance,
invite her up!
Coed Plans Concert
Penny Naylor, senior from Atlan
ta. will present her "Senior Piano
Recital" Monday May 14, at 8 p.m.
in the University Chapel.
The program, which is open to the
public, will consist of works by Bach,
Beethoven and Chopin.
