dent of Gamma Alpha Chi
honorary woman's advertising
fraternity. Neva Dixon of Jack
sonville, Fla. will assume the
post of vice president and Bev
erly Kelly of Atlanta will be
come secretary-treasurer.
Out-going president Falii-
anne Wolf of Durham, N. C.,
announced the plans for spring
quarter. Gamma Alpha Chi, un
der the sponsorship of H.
Fralzer Moore, advertising pro
fessor. will present an award
to the Advertising Woman of
the Year at the spring ban
quet. The award for the Out
standing Woman Advertising
Senior in the School of Jour
nalism will also be presented
at this time.
The group will initiate 15
pledges Wednesday, Feb. 27,
at the Alpha Gamma Delta so
rority house at 4 p.m.

Several of these officers and
other Panhellenic members at
tended the Panhellenic South
eastern Convention held at
Auburn University on Feb. 22-
24. Representatives of 43 schools
! attended.
The purpose of the convention
was to discuss problems and to
receive Ideas and suggestions.
Melina Mercouri and Raf Vallone are cast as husband
and wife in the modern Greek love drama, “Phaedra,”
which opened Friday at the Georgia Theatre. The
picture also stars Anthony Perkins.
