Rushees Receive Bids
As Sorority Rush Ends

Sorority liids accepted tonight will officially conclude
this year’s spring rush. Less than half of the original 412
rushees who signed up at the end of winter quarter will
become pledges.
Shorter, quieter, less nerve-
racking than fall rush, spring
rush began Friday, March 26,
with eight 20-mlnute Ice water
teas from 6:30-10:20 p.m.
Sunday the rushees at
tended four 40-mlnute punch
parties which were held from
2-4:20 p.m.
Final preferential parties
were held Monday from 6:00-
8:00 p m. Rushees attended two
of these last rush parties.
Rushees accepting Tuesday
morning bids tonight at so
rority houses will be honored
at chapter dinners.
Missing this spring because
of less time was November’s
long-practiced-for skit parties.
Only three parties, rather than
the regular four parties of fall
rush, were required during this
quarter’s rush.
