Center Offers Study-Travel Programs
Thr Georgia Center for Continuing Education is provid
ing a library of international programs through the Study-
Travel Advisory Service.
Intorimition on American colleges which operate overseas
ami foreign universities that accept American students may be
found in the llbniry, and independent trips may also he set up
•on special subjects.
University students may receive academic credit for travel-
study if their projects are approved before they leave the cam
pus. Information is also available on student travel without
credit.
Students interested in the national programs should see
Elizabeth Powell, study-travel advisor, in Room 128 of the Geor
gia Center.
Faculty members who wish to encourage student travel or
who have programs of their own are invited to take advantage of
this seivice.
Study-Travel is an advisory and planning service only. Stu
dents will be referred to travel agencies for all travel arrange
ments and reservations.

has been elected pledge sweet
heart of Delta Tau Delta for the
fall quarter.
The Delta Tau Delta pledge
class recently completed a ser
vice project for Hope Haven
which consisted of painting
and repairing the offices and
kitchen, trimming shrubbery
and cleaning the building.

ed a plaque symbolizing her achievement in the recent 4-II
Leadership Awards Program, during the 46th National
4-11 Club Congress held in Chicago Nov. 28-30.
Presenting t lie award was Edward L. Quinn, vice-presi
dent and executive director of the Sears-Roebuck Founda
tion, which presented Miss Faver and 11 other national
winners with $500 scholarships.
