\
1. Except as provided by Georgia law, academic records shall be accessible only to authorized on-campus persons. Off-campus persons without the written consent
of the student involved will not have records accessibility.

3. In the event student rctords are sent to any person the student shalT^* notified.
II. COMPULSORY CLASS ATTENDANCE
The Student Government Association points out that the present regulation on clas^ atU;n<Jjm*t^is unequally enforced. Some faculty members allow no cuts, some
three .some five, and some require no attendance except for examinations. We s^Tgest that the present rule does nothing to change the expectations of the faculty
on classroom attendance, or the attendance habits of the student body, and we Inquest that the regulation be changed to allow each professor to establish and enforce
his own class attendance standards.
III. FINANCIAL IRRESPONSIBILITY
k
The University should not have the authority to penalize a student in any way for financial irresponsibility between that student and a third party.
\ ' —
IV. FREEDOM OF INQUIRY AND EXPRESSION \
Under no circumstances should the University prohibit or interfere with in any toanner the freedom of any student or student organization to examine and to discuss
all questions of interest to them, and to express opinions publicly'and privately . The studert should always be free to support causes by orderly means which do
not disrupt the normal operation of the University. Students exercising the right of free speech should always speak only for themselves, and not in the name of or
for the University unless properly authorized to do so.
