chances for repeating as the
SEC championship team are
as good as anyone's. "
He said that Florida and LSU
are stronger than last year,
while Georgia is not because of
heavy losses
Allen Miller. Gary Holloman
and Lloyd Liebler are not back
this year Liebler still has one
year of eligibility left, but he
had to withdraw from school
because of illness
The home matches are mov
ing from the Athens Country
Club to the University Course
this year
Copas said the team has re
ceived good cooperation at the
new course and that they are
pleased with it
The University course has

Girl gymnasts
battle USC
The women s gymnastic club
takes on South Carolina here in
Stegeman Hall Friday at 4 30 p
m
This is the last home meet
for the eleven girl gymnasts
this season
Their record now stands at 2-
2. losing to Georgia College and
FSU. and coming back to beat
the strong Georgia College
team in a rematch, and then
winning against Furman
Ginny Bryant, team coach,
said the girls were working on
tricks now instead of routines
to prepare themselves for an
inviliLonal meet in May in
Florida, but she said she thinks
the female Bulldogs can beat
South Carolina
Miss Bryant said the girls
have progressed a long way
since fall and are "very good
fora first vearteam "
