May showers: wet and wild
It's not April, but May showers can be just as wet and every
bit as much fun. The quick cloudbursts that the weather
bureau never quite seems to know about dampen few
spirits. One girl, like the elf under a toadstool, finds shelter
for a few minutes under a tree on North Campus. Another
coed just grimly scuttles along with her umbrella held low
over her head. The guys seem to take the rain more stoicly,
or at least these two did. One strolls past the Military
Building with his jacket over his head. The other has the
best attitude in the rain. Do you think he would go in just
because his sunbath turned into a shower ?
