Stan's sells meaty sandwiches on white

beef, corned beef, ham, or turkey; 79

Power company cuts building bond
ATI AMT* .Ifni . . i..
ATLANTA (UPI) — A
planned $150 million bond sale
by Georgia Power Co. has been
reduced by $35 million because
of a continued decline in its
return on investment, the
utility said today
Georgia Power president
Edwin I. Hatch said the
company "badly" needs the
$150 million it had expected to
obtain in a June bond sale for
.ts construction program but
$115 million “is the maximum
we can sell under our
mortgage requirements.”
Hatch said earnings for
March. 1973, were down
$100,000 despite an additional
$500 million invested in the
company during the past year
and a rate increase granted in
December.
