for a repeat performance of
"The Gates of Justice ' on
March 29 The performance
will be videotaped by the South
Carolina Educational Televi
sion Network Brubeck per
formed with the music depart
ment on March 7.
"I thought the direction un
der Pierce Arant of the chorus,
and the brass and percussion
were the best I’d ever heard
When we got a chance to put it
on television. I wanted to do
it." Brubeck said Tuesday
Brubeck committed himself
to a return engagement after
the dress rehearsal of the show
March 7, according to Dr

was the best production he had

preserve it."
Brubeck and his soloists will
perform for travel and expens
es only this time. Arant said
"The original budget for this
production was somewhere a-

soloists will sing for a small

Getting the show together
again in three weeks took some
last planning. Arant and Bru

An eight credit summer
workshop program is being
offered at Disneyland and at
Walt Disney World for college
students with special singing,
dancing, or musical skills. In
addition to college credits,
participating students will re
