Oscars awarded Monday
The annual Academy Awards presentations will take
place Monday night and usually high audience interest has
been heightened by the high quality of the movies which
are up for awards
Perhaps the most prestigious award is that of best
movie, an honor many predict will go to One Flew Over the
Cuckoo's Nest with Jack Nicholson. This film won the
Golden Globe award earlier this year. However, the
People's Choice award for favorite movie went to Jaws.
Below is a list of the various movies which have been
nominated and their categories. You may want to take in
one or two of the ones nominated this weekend before
tuning in the awards ceremony Monday night at 10.
Circle one in each category.

The spring break seems to
have ushered out the flu epi

"We’re seeing some people
with residual problems from
the flu, but not many new
cases now," Brown said.
He said the Athens communi

increase in the number of
cases of flu, which "did turn
out to be the Influenza "A" or
Victoria type.”
The epidemic was "particu

were in any way debilitated—
with chronic respiratory or
heart problems." Brown con

With the arrival of spring, he
said, “we’ll be starting off next
