LSAT to be given at
Classic Center
Due to this weekend’s
rescheduled football game,
the testing site for the LSATs
has changed its location.
The test will be adminis
tered at the Classic Center
downtown from 8 a.m. to 2
p.m., not at the Chemistry
Building as originally
planned.
Students taking the test
can park in Lot C-4 on
Foundry Street for free by
showing their LSAT admis
sions ticket or authorization
letter, said Lynne Reeder of
the Counseling and Testing
Center.
Students can park in the
lot until 4 p.m., after
which cars will be towed,
Reeder said.
The Classic Center is
located on North Thomas
Street at the east end of
Broad Street.
Those with questions
about the changes in location
can contact Reeder at 542-
3183 or Kendra Freeman at
542-3182.
Student group to
protest war tonight
Students for Peace will
lead a silent march begin
ning in front of the Arch
tonight.
The goal of the organiza
tion is to protest U.S. mili
tary action in Afghanistan
and to promote a peaceful
solution to terrorism,
according to a written
statement.
Participants will hold
candles to symbolize peace
and solidarity with those
who share their same views
about peaceful solutions to
war.
The students also plan to
distribute flyers that will
detail the situation faced by
many humanitarian agen
cies as they try to deliver
food to Afghan civilians.
The march will begin at
9 p.m. and is open to the
public.
Greek house tours
show holiday spirit
Those not yet in the holi
day spirit may be inspired by
the Dance Marathon’s sixth
annual Tour of Homes this
weekend.
Sorority and fraternity
homes on Milledge Avenue
and Lumpkin Street are
opening their doors to the
public and showing off their
holiday decorations.
The Tour of Homes begins
Sunday at 2 p.m and costs $5.
Tickets can be purchased
at any of the participating
houses.
Proceeds from the event
will be donated to the
Children’s Miracle Network.

sounds of some of Athens,
and its area’s, finest
musicians.
Athens Music Factory is
hosting a chili cook-off on
Sunday with live music from 2
p.m. until 7 p.m. to benefit
Nugi’s Space.
Nugi’s Space is a non-prof
it organization that provides
Athens music community
with rehearsal spaces, a per
formance area, counseling
referals, support groups and
information workshops.
It also offers musical men
toring with musicians helping
musicians, as well as network
ing and other programs of
help all at a price the
struggling musician can
afford.

guests (local producer John
Keane and Col. Bruce
