Jean-Gilles is the first of Georgia’s seven draft picks to sign with their team. Jean-Gilles, drafted in the fourth round of April’s NFL Draft, agreed to terms just 10 days before the start of the team’s training camp. In 40 collegiate starts, Jean-Gilles allowed just three sacks, while anchoring an offensive line that helped Georgia win two SEC Championships. Financial terms were not disclosed by the Eagles. Georgia adds another recruit Even before the 2006 batch of new football recruits gets a chance to play between the hedges in the regular season, Georgia head coach Mark Richt is already looking even further to the future. With seven rising high school sen iors already committed to Georgia’s 2007 recruiting class, Richt added another top prospect to the list over the weekend. Chattahoochee High School senior lineman Clint Boling committed to the Bulldogs after participating SPORTS NOTEBOOK in a recent two-day camp.
