Life has changed for cornerback Asher Allen
since coming to Georgia last spring.
Waking up at 6 a.m. for morning study hall
never happened last fall at Tucker High
School. There wasn’t a pre-calculus class. And
there wasn’t a detailed bus system to contend
with.
“I got on the (Athens) Transit bus,” he said.
“I went to the mall. I ended up everywhere. I
ended up every single place imaginable.”
“It probably took a week or two to figure it
all out — things like getting on an East-West if
I need to go to East Campus.”
Allen will find himself in another unfamiliar
situation on Saturday afternoon, when Georgia
plays Western Kentucky at 12:30 p.m. — an unfa
miliar situation staged in front of 96,000 people
to Sanford Stadium. RESMRM. ID* 7,
Who are they?
