Highly-touted freshman
third baseman Luke
Stewart's Bulldog career at
the hot comer lasted all of
four games.
The team's experiment
with junior Ryan Peisel at
first base also lasted just four
games.
In both cases, head coach
David Pemo admits it was
four games too long.
After watching the two
infielders struggle to start the
season, with five errors for
Stewart and one for Peisel,
Perno swapped the two’s
positions prior to the start of
last weekend's series with
Purdue.
The results proved suc

Safe Campuses Now is
sponsoring a series of on

safe Spring Break plans and

“Every spring and fall
semester, we have a safety

of comprehensive programs,"
said Kathryn Keith Sims,
executive director for Safe
Campuses Now. “While these
are safety issues we try to
address every day, the spring
program is geared toward
Spring Break decisions.”

Proposal calls

A University data man

November 2006.
The proposal’s long-term
goal is to Integrate each
of the four University admin

student, business and
human resource records.
Each system houses data
necessary for running the
University.
“When you look at the
student system, you have a
system that's been
put together over a long
period of time," said
University Chief Information
Officer Barbara White. "It’s
my understanding that some
of that architecture is 30
years old. Different applica
tions have been wedged
together to make a complete
system ”
The four main University
systems aren’t connected,
White said
“They don't talk to each
other,” she said.
Data present in both sys

LaMonte Ponder has no

be on MTV’s Road Rules.
In fact, the 20-year old

"Really. I just

After getting

finals. But it wasn’t
until Winter Break that he
got the news he made the
show.
“I Just started screaming

Ponder said. “I couldn't
