Howard will be counted on to provide pressure on an inconsistent Gamecock offense. ‘52 The All-SEC and All-America candidate will be the linchpin of the Gamecock defense. South Carolina allowed 252 rushing yards to Louisiana-Lafayette at home last weekend, and the team will have to be better if it wants to stop a multi-faceted Georgia offense.
