Bulldogs
energize
Warriors’
offense
By PHILLIP KISUBIKA
The Red & Black
Though the Georgia faith
ful may not see the Sugar
Bowl in New Orleans as the
most fitting way to end their
season, Hawai’i quarterback
Colt Brennan sees a BCS
bowl game as
a great oppor
tunity to rep
resent the
state and fin
ish his senior
season.
In a tele
conference
Monday,
Brennan talk
ed to report
ers about,
BRENNAN
among other things, the high
powered offense that has
helped make the No. 10
Warriors the only undefeated
team in the country.
Hawai’i runs head coach
June Jones’ version of the
“Rim Si Shoot” offense, which
is marked by multiple wide
receiver sets, formation
adjustments, lots of passes
and high scores.
“It’s a one-of-a-kind
offense,” Brennan said, add
ing that he’s been “blessed
with by far the best receiving
corps in the country.”
Georgia head coach Mark
Richt jokingly said Sunday
that Brennan “has thrown
more touchdowns than any
one in the history of the
world.”
Exaggeration? Yes, but it’s
difficult to argue Brennan’s
statistical credentials. The
many NCAA records the
California native has accu
mulated in his time in Hawaii
include the career record for
most touchdown passes (126)
and the single-season touch
down pass record (58, set in
2006).

Jewelry Frame
Supplies:
>• One wooden frame of
any size with no backing
► Chicken wire
> Hot glue gun
Directions:
I suggest picking a
frame of about 12 inches.
Buy your backless wooden
frame, and then take it
with you to purchase the
chicken wire. This step will
ensure that you get the
perfect amount.
Decorating the wooden
frame with quotes or pat
terns is a great idea but

Professors tell students
since course evaluations are
anonymous, students
should say what they want.
But a recent example of
a student writing offensive
statements about a profes
sor showed that is not
always the case.
As course evaluations fill
time before finals, thou
sands of University stu
dents are asked to evaluate
instructor’s performance
and teaching methods with

not necessary.
Once you have your
• supplies and your frame
is decorated and dry,
hot glue the chicken
wire to the back of the
frame.
The jewelry frame then
will be able to hang from
the wall by the wire.
The frame works well on
the walls of small bed
rooms and bathrooms. It’s
also great for hanging ear
rings and necklaces that
you don’t want tangled up
in a jewelry box.

Archer screamed for Fagan, who

Meredith Holland Jones, 29, of
Athens, died Friday after battling
cancer.
She was a doctoral student in
education who was named Rockdale
County Teacher of the Year for 2005-
2006. She earned her undergraduate
and master’s degrees from the
University.
For the past four years, she taught
music at Honey Creek Elementary
School in Conyers. She was also a
member of Community Christian
Church in Fayetteville.
Jones created a Web site to chron

her medical treatment and served as
an emotional outlet.
After Jones’ death, her friends and
family used the site to describe her
as a very dedicated person who was
always trying to help people.
