Decatur Scouts
Plan Pageant
For September

Church in Decatur, has announc
ed plans for the troop’s? third an
nual Indian pageant in Septem
ber. This is an original drama
by Scoutmaster James Giglio,
which has been performed for
the past two years in the open by
nearly 100 scouts.
Mr. Carter succeeds Elbridge
Freeborn as committee chairman.
Mr. Freeborn, who is vice_presi
dent of Hastings Seed Company,
has just completed a course in
Landscape Gardening for Troop
members. As a result, six boys
earned a : Merit Badge in that
subject: Terry Binion, Elbridge
and William Freeborn, Christo
pher Herrick, William Pitts and
Fred Stokes.
. Other Scouts wit o earned
awards were Michael Schieman,
James Bramlage and. Malcom
Carter, Jr.

baptized in 1947. After his conversion, Father Coakley’s entire
family joined the Church, and a sister is now Sr. Mary Bernard j
