of a rather long fourth quarter
The Braves, who piled up 365 total
yards, were led by Phillips who carried
the ball 12 times lor 58 yards Clint l/ing
and Trevon Daniels both rushed for
over 45 yards apiece as many of the
squads running backs got their hands
on the ball
Asa team. West Georgia passed for
14H yards on 26 attempts Archer led the
Braves’ passing attack with 77 yards
The team’s leading receiver was
McConnell who caught two passes for 99
yards.
The Braves were helped by Miles
mistakes as the Golden Bears were
guilty in committing seven penalties lor
75 yards and throwing four intercep
tions The Bears committed four tur

The Braves had one misfortune in the
loss of Ken Revels who broke fus leg on
a play in the lirsl half and will have it in
a cast lor a couple ol months Pate said
that Revels was the team's top corner
back and ran back punts and kick offs

were able to use our second, third, and
fourth string players," said Pate
