Wolves drop fourth straight in homecoming game

celebrations are always
bombarded with parades,
parties, and past, present
and future alumni gathering
together to commemorate
the university.
Along with the
celebrations comes the
football game to top off
the festivities. The Wolves
went into the homecoming
game against Henderson
State prepared to win,
but lost 37-17 after the
Reddies scored 27
unanswered points in the
fourth quarter.
Wolves volleyball team lose nail bitter at home

Fhe Wolves were one
of the hottest teams in the
Gull South Conference in
recent w eeks after going on
a 17-match winning streak,
and earning the most overall
wins by any team in the
conference.
Last Friday the Wolves
took on an even hotter team,
facing undefeated West
Alabama at the Campus
Center West Georgia knew
that they had to bring their
“A" game to take down the
Tigers, but they ultimately
lost the match 3-2 in the fifth

Not only was this the
homecoming game, but
the Wolves were faced
with adding on to their
three game losing streak

string of losses, dropping
their fourth straight game.
The Reddies struck
first on the first offensive
possession as Justin
Putnam nailed a 31-yard
field goal, giving the
Reddies a 3-0 lead. Ihe
Wolves took their first
lead in the second period

The Wolves knew that they

excitement, as the Wolves
and Tigers fought hard
to score every point, The
Wolves would take the lead
early in the game, but never
led by more than a point.
