Annual bible institute
Blessed Trinity Shrine Retreat,
Holy Trinity, Alabama is holding its
Annual Bible Institute on June 23-
25. This year’s topic is “The Scrip
tural Roots of Faith in The Triune
God.” “Go therefore, and make dis
ciples of all nations, baptizing them
in the name of the Father, and of the
Son, and of the Holy Spirit...” (.Mat
thew 28:19). In this year of the Tri
nity, the institute will examine this
and several other Gospel passages as
well as their precedents in earlier
Biblical books in order to come to a
greater appreciation of the Mystery
of the Trinity—the incomprehensible
Mystery of God’s life as revealed in
creation, in God’s words and deeds;
in the life, death and resurrection of
Jesus; and in the promise of the
Spirit’s abiding presence and
action—calling all to share in God’s
own life of love. The program begins
with registration at 7:00 p.m.
(Eastern Time) on Friday and con
cludes with dinner at noon on
Sunday.
Call 334-855-4474 for registra
tion information.
