Operation Andrew
The vocations office is again sponsoring “Operation Andrew,” a project that
invites young men by name to consider the priesthood. Dinners will be held at
various locations around the diocese for men in high school or older. The first
will be held October 26 at Saint Benedict the Moor Parish, Savannah. The eve
ning begins with Mass at 6:30, followed by dinner and personal reflections by
Fathers William O. O’Neill, Albert Bickerstaff, OSB, and Desmond Ohankwere.

Cathedral Golf Classic
The Cathedral Classic golf tournament, to benefit the Social Apostolate,
will be held at 9:00 a.m., at The Landings Club on November 6. The cost per
player is $85, including golf, range balls, lunch and prizes. Hole sponsors are
needed at a cost of $25 (individual) and $100 (corporate). Checks should be
made payable to the Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist and addressed to: The

Savannah 2000 retreat
A White Elephant Sale will be held November 4, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00
