CCHD Applications
In November 2000, the Diocese of Savannah col
lected $40,614 for the Catholic Campaign for
Human Development. Twenty-five percent remains
in the Diocese for local grants. Applications for
funding are now being accepted. The project must
benefit people who are poor and low-income. It
should attack basic causes of poverty and work
towards institutional change. A relatively large
number of people should benefit from the grant
and the project should generate cooperation among
diverse groups of people. These small grants are
available now.
