Chaplet Of Divine Mercy
Saint James Parish, Savannah, will sponsor the
recitation of the Chaplet of Divine Mercy from
3:00-4:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 22. Pope John
Paul II has designated the Second Sunday of
Easter as “Mercy Sunday.”
Art Extravaganza
Saint Mary’s Home’s Annual Art Extravaganza
will be held at the DeSoto Hilton Hotel in Savannah
on April 22 at 7:00 p.m. A limited number of tick
ets is on sale for $125.00 (includes dessert and cof
fee and a piece of artwork of the ticket holder’s
choice). From 7:00-8:00 p.m. ticket holders will
view the artwork, and at 8:00 p.m. numbered tick
ets will be drawn at random. The owner of the first
ticket drawn will have first choice of anything in
the show. And so it will go until the last ticket is
drawn. Two people may attend with one ticket, but
each ticket will be redeemed for only one piece of
art. There will be a silent auction for smaller items.

Cabrini Spring Festival
Great fun is bloomin’. Don’t miss the Annual
Spring Festival, Saturday, April 28 from 11:00
a.m.-7:00 p.m. at Saint Frances Cabrini Church,

Farewell to Marists
Bishop Boland will celebrate a farewell Mass for
the Marist Brothers, who are leaving the Diocese
of Savannah after 81 years, at 7:00 p.m. on
Thursday, April 26 at Saint Mary on the Hill
Church, Augusta. A reception will follow.
Retrouvaille
ReTRouvaille (Rediscovery) is a program desig
ned to provide help and support to married couples
who are experiencing difficulties, brokenness or
loneliness. Retrouvaille is a program of the Catho
lic Church but is open to couples of other faiths as
well. The next weekend is scheduled for May 4-6.

St. Vincent’s Alumnae
St. Vincent’s Alumnae will hold their annual
mass and dinner at the Cathedral and at Walsh Hall
on Saturday, April 28 at the 5:30 p.m. mass. A

A Night to Remember

Benedictine Military School is hosting its 9th
annual auction on May 12, at 6:00 p.m. Featured
are both silent and live auctions highlighting week
end trips, front row seating at Benedictine’s gradu
ation, jewelry, sports packages, cruises, artwork,
furniture and more. Licensed auctioneer Andy
Kramer will host. Hors d’oeuvres and wine imme
diately follow the live auction, and there will be an
open bar. A table for eight is $200, and for one,
$25. Seating is limited.
