scores were St. Pius 70, St.
Joseph 50, Marist 24.
Terry Lee led the Golden
Lion team to victory. He scored
15 points by winning the 440
yd. sprint and anchoring the
winning 440 and mile relay
teams. John Stumbler scored 12
points in the meet. He finished
first in the high hurdles, ran a
leg in the winning 440 relay
team, and got fourth in the shot
put and the 100 yd. dash
Again, the undefeated mile
relay pulled a first. TTie mem
bers of the team were Rick

Gegan, and Terry Lee. The time
was 3 minutes and 36 seconds.
Bill Justen led the Lion dis
tance men by winning the mile
run in 4 minutes and 59 sec
onds. He also placed second in
the 880 yd. run. Rick Meuth-
ing won the 880 in 2 minutes
and 9.3 seconds.
Tom Hughes ran the low hur
dles in 21.8 seconds for first
place. He also finished second
in the high hurdles.
Field men brought home first
places in three of five events.
Joe Cox won the shot put with
a toss of 44’ 5”. John Gegan
won the broad jump with a leap
of 18’ 5”. Tom Angelich won
the high jump for the Gold and
White by clearing 5' 8”.
