EVANS EDITOR’S NOTE: We notice that reader Evans’recommend ed reading includes only two objective pieces, that of J. Ed gar Hoover and Cardinal Cush ing. The other books offered are by persons affllated with ultra-Right Wing groups. We note - the significant omission by re ader Evans of any re commendation of Papal Encycl icals on Communism. In Pope Pius’XI "Atheistic Commu nism", and Pope John’s mod ern-day encyclicals “Mater Et Magistra" and “Pacem In Ter ris." There Is enough material to keep Catholes busy in the fight against the Red Menace. We prefer the Voice of the Ch urch over the professional anti communists of the Extreme Right.
