The articles were written for the N.C.W.C, News Service and were printed pre viously in Catholic papers throughout the country, ‘The department continues to believe the preasnt clauses in the Constitution are of incalcul able benefit to religion, *' the Consedine statement said, ‘ The first amendment sepa rates Church and State by pro hibiting establishment of re ligion and also by prohibiting government interference with the free exercise of religion.
