At the beginning of his lecture, Father haddad spoke briefly about Catholicism in general, emphasizing the point of unity in the Catholic Church. Afterwards he spoke about the diversity of Rites in the Cath olic Church, particularly about the Melkite-Byzantine Rite and its customs, traditions and lo cal laws. Finally referring to the en deavors of the Catholic Church in the Ecumenical Council for Christian unity, Father Haddad called for more and more un derstanding and cooperation among all Christians especially among the youth of today. Fives, Ac ademic Dean at Mount Saint Mary's College, Emmitsburg, Maryland, has announced the selection of twelve seniors for inclusion in the National Catho lic Scholastic Honor Society, Delta Epsilon Sigma, and 18 seniors for membership in the college’s Monsignor Tierney Honor Society. Among them is James E. Ford, son of Mr. and Mrs. James E. Ford, 208 Lakeview Avenue, Atlanta. Ford is a bio logy major at the college. Atlanta, Georgia Form Xavier Group Here Xavier University (Cincin nati, Ohio) alumni in the Atlan ta- Decatur area attended Mass and received Communion in a body at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Sunday, December 6, 1964. Afterwards they at tended a breakfast meeting at the Heart of Atlanta Motel to officially formulate a chapter representing Xavier University in this area. This inaugural meeting was planned in conjun ction with the yearly Universal Communion Sunday held by Xav ier University on campus and in cities where chartered al umni chapters are active in order to stress the spiritual theme of their association with the university. Officers elected were: Presi dent, J. L. Lammers, Jr.; Vice- President, William J. Ley; Sec retary, Thomas H. Walsh; Tre asurer, Rodney J. Fussinger. Additional members include A. A.
