4 Anda Y Haz Tu Lo Mismo’
POR: JORGE A. GUIGOU
Cuando el maestro de la
ley pregun to a Jesus: “y
quien es mi projimo?” (Lucas
10: 25 al 27) El le dio la
respuesta con la parabola o el
ejemplo del buen samaritano
que ayuda al desconocido
medio muerto que encuentra
en el camino. Tambien Jesus
enfatiza esta idea cuando en
el pasaje del “juicio de las
naciones” (Mateo 25: 31 al
46) nos dice que cada vez que
se da de comer al hambriento,
de beber al sediento,
alojamiento al forastero, se
viste al desnundo, se visita al
enfermo o al preso, por El
mismo se hace.
El ejemplo de lo que es ser
un buen samaritano lo vivi
hace algunas semanas cuando
fui con mi familia a la
graducion de high school del
hijo de unos buenos amigos.
Llegamos a la hora que se
suponia que empezara el acto
y alii era imposible encontrar
parqueo por los alrededores
del colegio, mas aun cuatro o
cinco cuadras a la redonda
todo estaba ocupado por
automoviles estacionados a
ambos lado de la calle.
Por fin, a unas cinco
cuadras del colegio,
encontramos un espacio en la
calle y nos pusimos a hacer
todas las maniobras para
parquear el auto. Cuando nos
disponiamos a salir del mismo
vimos a una senora americana
en traje de tennis que venia
corriendo hacia nosotros,
enseguida empezamos a hacer
conjeturas de lo que nos venia
a decir y cual no fue nuestra
sorpresa cuando nos ofrecio
que dejaramos el auto en su
casa, a unas seis puertas de
donde habiamos paraqueado,
y ella nos llevaria en su
automovil hasta el colegio
para que asi no tuvieramos
que caminar y ademas no
llegaramos tarde al acto. En el
viaje se excuso de que no nos
viniera a recoger mas tarde
pues ella no sabia a que hora
se iba a terminar la
graduacion.

Tambien seria un buen
ejemplo actual, la labor tan
loable que estan realizando
un grupo de cristianos que
visitan todas las semanas a
los presos latinos que se
encuentran en la carcel
federal. Hombres y mujeres
que dedican su tiempo fibre
para llevar un poco de
esperanza y de consuelo a
aquellos que, ya sea cual
fuere el motivo por el que se
encuentran cumpliendo
condena, estan viviendo
momentos muy dificiles.
Estos individuos sacrifican su
tiempo de descanso y de
diversion por amor a un
semejante y sobre todo por
amor a Dios. Asi es como
aman los buenos cristianos.
En el juicio final el Hijo del
hombre rodeado de todos sus
angeles, se sentara sobre el
trono de su gloria y separara a
los hombres, unos los pondra
a su derecha y otros a su
izquierda. Entonces el Rey
dira a los de su derecha:
“Venid benditos de mi Padre,
heredad el Reino preparado
para vosotros desde el
principio del mundo! Porque
cuando me hizo falta me
dieron un “ride” y cuando es
aba preso me vinieron a
visitar y dar consuelo.
Con estos ejemplos
vivenciales es como Jesucristo
me ensena a ser “projimo” y
como recibo su invitacion:
“Anda y haz tu lo mismo.”
