a month typing material for the PROLIFERS FOR
SURVIVAL newsletter, a publication providing news and
information about pro-life issues and nuclear disarmament
and peace. The network of people supporting both
pro-life and disarmament nationally are trying to form a
bridge between those who are separated into political left

An area-wide archdiocesan CHARISMATIC
PRAYER AND PRAISE MEETING will be held Sat.
July 9 at 8 p.m. at St. Jude’s Church, 7171
Glenridge Dr. in northeast Atlanta. Phone 394-3896

St. JOHN VIANNEY CHURCH in Lithia Springs is
planning a big homecoming weekend Aug. 6-7 to celebrate
the church’s 25th anniversary. An Aug. 6 picnic, with
games, entertainment and fireworks will begin at 8 p.m.
The following day, Archbishop Donnellan will be the
principal celebrant of a special liturgy at 10:30 a.m. in the
church. Former pastors and priests will concelebrate. All

IGNATIUS HOUSE SUMMER RETREATS are
scheduled for July 8-10, directed by Fr. Niel Jarreau, S.J.
and Aug. 19-21, directed by Fr. Kerry Clark, S.J. Retreats

“WE STILL HAVE A DREAM” - to commemorate the
20th anniversary of the historic 1963 march on
Washington, local groups will travel to Washington for a
rally in support of jobs, peace and freedom Aug. 27-28.

Concerned, NAACP, SCLC, King Center, Open Door,
American Friends Service Committee, Ga. Hunger
Coalition, Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and the

THE CATHOLIC ALUMNI CLUB invites Catholic
