First Friday Club Meets
The FIRST FRIDAY CLUB OF ATLANTA will
hold its next meeting on Friday, August 3, at Sacred
Heart Church after the 12:10 PM Mass. All men of
the diocese are invited. Lunch and social. The
speaker is Mr. Mac Maguire on Reaching Out To
Others.

In October 1980, the
first announcement
regarding First
Saturday Devotions was
a two sentence
paragraph asking for
interest in Georgia
Graphics. Parishes have
responded and there are
now 17 parishes
participating with
additional parishes
scheduled to begin
devotions in
September.

Those who would like
information on the
personal care home for the
elderly opening at
Immaculate Heart of Mary
parish in Atlanta have
been asked to contact
Catholic Social Services at
881-6571.
The home will provide a
place for 15 “frail elderly”
who are in need of
assistance with meals and
care, but not in need of
skilled nursing. It will be
in the former Immaculate
Heart of Mary convent,
which is undergoing
renovation; the facility
will be open to people
from throughout the
archdiocese. For
