FIRST FRIDAY MEN’S CLUB will attend the 12:10 Mass
on Fri., Nov. 6 at Sacred Heart Church, 353 Peachtree St.,

On Nov. 1, ATLANTA MINISTRY WITH INTERNA
TIONAL STUDENTS, INC. (AMIS) will hold its Annual
Welcome Reception for students at Symphony Hall
(Woodruff Arts Center) at 4:30 p.m. The program will
feature the Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra. Five thou
sand international students from 120 countries attend 20
metro colleges and universities. Admission is free and the

Dunwoody psychologist. Dr. Linda Klaitz, will present a
program for the Atlanta chapter of COMPASSIONATE
FRIENDS on post-traumatic stress, Tues., Nov. 3 at the
First Christian Church of Atlanta, 4532 LaVista Road, in
Tucker. The program, which begins at 8 p.m.. will feature a
discussion of the emotional symptoms related to sudden,
overwhelming life events such as the violent death of a

THE ATLANTA COMMUNITY FOOD BANK, which
distributes good but unmarketable food to 320 area feeding
programs, is looking for 100-150 volunteers (individuals or
groups) to work a three-hour sorting session each month.

Dawn Gear, principal, display some of the
sandwiches they collected for St. Vincent de
Paul Society as part of their remembrance of
the poor for World Hunger Day.
St. Catherine of Siena will hold its SEVENTH ANNUAL,,
HARVEST FESTIVAL Nov. 13 and 14. Crafters interested
in selling their crafts or displaying their talents are invited
