St. Matthew’s parish, 104 W. Campbellton St. in Fairburn
will hold its FALL BAZAAR, Sat., Nov. 14 from 10 a.m. to 7
p.m. and Sun., Nov. 15 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. A bake shop,
craft and gift boutique, country store and grandma’s attic
will be featured. Lunch menu includes jambalaya and
French bread. All are invited.
A course, NATURAL FAMILY PLANNING, will
begin on Sun., Nov. 8 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Saint
Joseph’s Hospital, Atlanta. For further information

St. Lawrence Church in Lawrenceville will hold its
CHRISTMAS BAZAAR on Sat., Nov. 7 from 10 a.m. to 5
p.m. Handcrafted items will include Christmas decorations
as well as toys, needlework and country crafts. The church
is located at 319 Grayson Highway.

A POST-ABORTION COUNSELING and support pro
gram is beginning at St. Jude Church, 7171 Glenridge Drive
in Sandy Springs. Education sessions are held on the third
Thursday of the month at 7:30 p.m. in the activity building.
Individual counseling and a support group are also

RETROUVAILLE/REDISCOVERY, a program
for couples whose marriages are experiencing dif
ficulty, will be offered beginning the weekend of

OPENING DOORS: INDEPENDENT LIVING IN YOUR
HOME is a program that describes options for senior
citizens for remaining in one’s own home and for changing
the living arrangement within one’s home. The program
will be offered Nov. 10 at St. Thomas More parish, 624 West
Ponce de Leon Ave., Decatur, beginning at 7:30 p.m. For

The Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, 48 Martin
Luther King Jr. Drive, will hold a FLEA MARKET and
CAKE SALE on Nov. 19 and 20 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on

having children meets on the second Monday of each month
at Sacred Heart Church, 353 Peachtree St., N.E. Lost
Parents emphasizes support, sharing of information and
spirituality and the graces of the sacrament of marriage.

AN AFTERNOON WITH ROVER is a chance for
volunteers to share their pets with the elderly. Volunteers
are needed to bring their pets to spend about two hours a
month with the residents of Marian Manor. Interested per

The Cathedral of Christ the King’s FALL MUSICAL PRO
GRAMS will continue during November. On Sunday, Nov.
15, Cathedral organist Timothy Wissler will give an organ
concert titled, “Great Cathedral Organ Voluntaries,”
beginning at 3:30 p.m. The program is free and all are in
vited.
INVOLVED IN SERVICE — Young students
Bud Boland, Rachel Ewing, Amy Baly, Mary
Keeley, with their teacher, Jenny Ellis, display
a picture of what they hope their Pumpkin-
grams, (Halloween messages with candy and
inscriptions sold by Christ the King
kindergarten) will help purchase for the Heifer
Project. The international project buys farm
animals for the needy.
The Knights of Columbus will sponsor its annual TOOT
SIE ROLL DRIVE in cooperation with the Fayette and
Coweta Counties’ Association for Retarded Citizens (ARC) ,
on November 6 and 7. Members of the Knights, Holy Trinity
Parish Youth Group and the Boy Scouts with other local
volunteers will hand out the candy and accept donations at
various locations in the two counties. Funds collected will 4
be distributed between the county and state chapters of
ARC.
