AGMC- Atlanta Gay Men's Chorus. A semi-professional

ALFA- Atlanta Lesbian Feminist Alliance. 2nd Sunday of

ALGPC- Atlanta Lesbian/Gay Pride Committee. 2nd

AMC- Atlanta March Committee- More Than a Phase. A
community based activist organization that works toward
promoting lesbian and gay rights through educational,

AID Atlanta- A community-based, non-profit agency
providing multiple services to all people with ADS, their
families and friends, and education to everyone regarding

Atlanta Business & Professional Guild- A non-profit
service organization comprised of both gay/lesbian and non
gay professionals and businesspersons. 2nd Tuesday of

Atlanta Feminist Women’s Chorus- A community-
oriented choral group of women's voices. Membership is
open to all women interested in singing. Chorus practice

Atlanta Lambda Chorale- A community-oriented choral
group for both men and women. Membership open to all

Aims to facilitate women meeting together with other
women in a pleasant atmosphere. Offers timely programs of
interest to the community, reaches out to older women and

LEGAL Raises $1200 For Projects
LEGAL (Legislate Equality for Lesbians and Gays) held a bowl-a-thon fundraiser on
Saturday, March 25th at the Express Lanes on Monroe Circle. Approximately $1,200 was
raised for their general operations. Major projects planned for this year include sponsoring
a mayoral debate in September between Maynard Jackson and Michael Lomax. The debate
will be co-sponsored with the S.CL.C.
The winners in the bowl-a-thon were David Alexander, men's high series, Jenny
Cleveland, women's high series, and David Alexander for the most money raised by signing
up sponsors. Plans are being made for another similar fundraiser this fall.
Anyone interested in LEGAL is invited to attend their meetings on the third Monday
each month at 7:00 at the Peachtree Branch Library.
