Next Week’s Highlights
•VOTE '89!— April 15, 22, 23. Look-we need the votes. Without the votes, there is no voice and as we all
know, silence = death. Fulton residents, on April 15th, go to Ansley Mall and register, 11 AM-4 PM; DeKalb
County residents, go to Toco Hills' Drug Emporium or Charis Books, 11 AM-4 PM; on April 22, DeKalb
folks, check it out at Charis Books or Toco Hills again, 11 AM-4 PM; April 23-Sunday-from 5 PM til 10 PM,
Fulton Co. people register at Ansley Square between two hot spots: Burkhart's and Crazy Ray's.
•White People—April 20—May 7. Jim Grimsley's new play is a topsy-turvy look at commerce, bureaucracy,
consumerism, family values and sharing information the American way. The theatre is transformed into a
performance mall where the consumer audience will be free to browse. Grimsley, author of Mr. Universe and
Math And Aftermath, is the 1988 winner of the Oppy Award for play writing. By the way, White People is not
about white people-it's about blank, generic people. Makes sense, right? Seven Stages Theatre, 1105 Euclid
Ave. Thurs-Sat at 8 PM, Sun at 5 PM. $10.50. 523-7647 for reservations.
