General Sessions. There are
many facts and myths about the
AIDS Epidemic. AIDS 101
General Sessions will educate
you about the differences.
Sessions include: Medical
Overview and Psycho-social
Issues; Risk Reduction and
Drugs; Playing Safe vs. Playing
With Your Life.
Special Interest Sessions.
Design your own weekend to
suit your needs. These session
topics range from general
information to specific issues
critical to PLWA's.
Services. Displays will be set up
to introduce services and
volunteer opportunities at AID
Atlanta and other Atlanta AIDS
organizations.
Location. AIDS 101 is held at
Georgia Mental Health Institute,
1256 Briarcliff Road in Atlanta.
Costs. The Registration fee is
$30 ($15 for students and senior
citizens) which includes reference
materials, snacks and Saturday
lunch.
