at the rise and fall of the Black Liberation
Movement of the 60’s and 70’s through the eyes
of New Y ork artist Danny Tisdale, complete with

niques add dimension to flat art so that it is hard
to say whether they are paintings or sculptures.
This retrospective exhibit of 41 works from 1969
allows the public to view the development of her
unique style and statement in a multi-medium
