Heyman-Rosenblum
Chester, S. C. — Mr. and Mrs.
Adolph Rosenblum announce the mar
riage of their daughter, Lucille, to
Mr. Saling Heyman, of New York
City. The foregoing announcement
which has been received here by rela
tives and friends is of much interest.
Mr. Heyman is a native of Chester,
S. C., and is a young man with a host
of friends here and in New York. He
is the son of Mrs. Lucille Heyman, of
this city, and the Mr. H. S. Heyman.
Miss Gussie Miller, who has been
the feted guest of her sister, Mrs. I.
A. Zion, has returned to her home in
Baltimore, Maryland.
Mr. Jacob Miller, of Baltimore,
Maryland, spent a few days in At
lanta recently as the guest of his
daughter and son, Mr. and Mrs. I. A.
Zion.
Miss Eleanor Smullyan has return
ed after spending the winter in New
York, visiting her uncle and aunt, Mr.
and Mrs. LeRoy Strauss.
Recent visitions in Atlantic City
from Atlnnta were Mr. and Mrs. Jos
eph B. Newman, Mrs. Thelma Cohn,
Mrs. Reba II. Klein, Mr. and Mrs.
Samuel Goodman and family.
Mr. and Mrs. Julius Weil, who have
been the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Har
old Hirsch, have returned home.
Mrs. Edgar Bodenheimer has recov
ered from her recent illness.
Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Hoflin, of Nor
folk, Va., have returned home after n
delightful visit with relatives here.
Among the out-of-town guests who
will attend the Gold-Litchenstein
wedding include Mrs. Bertram Gold
man and son, Irwin Goldman, Mr.
and Mrs. Jack Gold, Mr. A. Gold, and
Miss Rose Gold, all of Memphis,
Tenn.
Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Mandle of
New York City are the proud par
ents of a daughter, who has been
given the name of Rose Lee. Mrs.
Mandle will be remembered as the
former Miss Sylvia Golden of At
lanta.
Mr. and Mrs. Sam Epstein, whose
marriage was a recent social event,
are on their wedding trip in Havana,
Cuba.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Newman
have just returned from a trip to
Miami and other points of interest.

Mr. and Mrs. Gustav R. Apfelbaum
announce the engagement of their
daughter, Lucile, to Mr. A. Maurice
Loveman, of Atlanta, formerly of
Nashville, Tenn., the date of the mar
riage to be announced later.

Mr. and Mrs. Louis Mislow an
nounce the engagement of their
daughter, Stella, to Mr. Harry Fein-
berg, of LaGrange, the date of the
marriage to be announced later.
Winer-Abelman
Mr. and Mrs. H. Winer, of Chatta
nooga, Tenn., announce the engage
ment of their daughter, Ada, to Mr.
Ralph P. Abelman, of Atlanta, the
date of the marriage to be announced
later.
Wyle-Phillips
Mr. and Mrs. Armand Wyle an
nounce the engagement of their
daughter, Eleanor, to Mr. Harold
Philips, of Erie, Pa., the date of mar
riage to be announced later.
Mrs. Joel and Mrs. Heyman
Entertained for Visitor
Mrs. B. F. Joel and Mrs. Herman
Heyman were joint hostesses on Mon
day at an attractive luncheon given
at the Standard Club, honoring Mrs.
Oscar Goodman, of New York, guest
of Mrs. Arthur Heyman, Mrs. Sam
Johnson, of Cincinnati, Ohio, the
guest of Mrs. J. E. Sommerfield, and
Mrs. Aaron Ferst, of Baltimore, Md.,
guest of Mrs. Alvin Ferst.
In addition to the honor guests and
their hostesses were Mrs. David
Marx, Mrs. L. B. Joel, Mrs. Fannie
Menko and Mrs. Charles Heyman.
Miss Gold to Wed
Melvin Lichtenstein
Plans have been announced of the
marriage of Miss Fan Gold of Mem
phis, Tenn., to Mr. Melvin Lichen-
stein of this city, which will take
place Thursday, April 3rd, at three
o’clock at the home of Mr. and Mrs.
Harry Weinberg on Park Drive, At
lanta. Dr. David Marx will perform
the ceremony. Miss Gold will have
as her attendants her sisters. Mrs.
Harry Weinberg will act as matron
of honor and Miss Rose Gold, of
Memphis, will be her maid of honor.
An informal reception at the home
of Mr. and Mrs. Weinberg will fol
low the ceremony. The young couple
will leave for a wedding trip to Can
ada, Niagara Falls and other points
of interest in the east, after which
they will make their home in At
lanta.
Mrs. Julian Boehm has returned
from a trip to New York.
Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Haas have re
turned from Florida.
Mr. Phil Wachtal has returned to
his home in New York.

Miss Ida Cohen has just returned
from a trip to Charlotte, N. C.
Mrs. Abe Apelbaum of Birming
ham, Ala., is visiting relatives in the

bered as the former Miss Esther
Lesser.
