Mrs. Rose Kaplan and her father,
Mr. Nircnstein, of Birmingham, were
in Atlanta attending the wedding of
Miss Freda Isacoff.
Phil Tanenbaum, of Augusta, Ga.,
spent a few days in Atlanta recently.
Friends of Miss Pearl Eplan will be
glad to hear she is recuperating rap
idly from her recent operation.
Miss Fred Gavron is visiting her
parents on Boulevard Terrace.
Miss Gussie P'stroff, of Birmingham,
Ala., spent a few days in Atlanta re
cently.
Miss Annie Balser was in Atlanta
recently to attend the wedding of her
brother, Meyer Balser, to Miss Rosa
line Stone.
Miss Natalie Cohen was the winner
of the Journal loving cup presented to
the best all-around student at Girls’
High School, and Rubin Critn was the
winner of a similar cup presented to
the best all-around student at Commer
cial High School.
Miss Sadie Rich entertained her
friends at a graduation dance at her
home June 3rd.
Mr. and Mrs. Ely Myer and chil
dren are guests at the Georgian Ter
race Hotel.
Mr. and Mrs. David Strauss and
family and Mr. and Mrs. Morris Eise-
inan and family formed a party spend
ing the summer abroad.
Mrs. Morris Hirsch has recovered
from an appendicitis operation.
Miss Daisy Jacobs has returned from
Birmingham, Ala., where she was the
guest of her sister and brother, Mr.
and Mrs. Eugene Jacobs.
Mr. and Mrs. Louis Rcgenstein were
called to Boston on account of the ill
ness of their son, Louis, Jr.
Mrs. John Herzfeld has recovered
from a tonsil operation.
Mr. and Mrs. B. F. Joel are in At
lantic City. Later they will visit their
son, Ben, Jr., in New York.
Arthur Solomon, of Savannah, spent
a few days in the city recently.
Mrs. Maurice Bernard and children
motored to Montgomery, Ala., for the
week-end recently.
Miss Clemmie Haas has returned
from a short stay in Louisville, Ky.
Miss Florette Visanska, who is at
tending school at Goucher College in
Baltimore, is spending the summer with
her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Vi
sanska, on Virginia Avenue.
Mr. and Mrs. Allen Davis, of Cin
cinnati. Ohio, have returned home.
Mrs. Lee Stern, of Albany, Ga., has
returned home.
Moe Goldman has returned from
Chattanooga.
Miss Betty Jane Zacharias has re
covered from a tonsil operation.
Herbert Nussbaum, who was ill at
Wesley Memorial Hospital, has re
turned home.
Miss Lucile Apflebaum is the guest
of Mrs. Edgar Oppenheim in New York.
