Mr. and Mrs. Mendel Romm and
children spent several days in Asheville
recently as the guests of Mr. and Mrs.
Joseph Kartus.
Miss Sylvia Tanenbaum of Augusta,
Ga., is visiting with Miss Sara Gershon
while attending Emory University, and is
being pleasantly entertained by her
numerous friends.
Mr. and Mrs. Victor Kreigshaber enter
tained at a picnic supper at Camp Victor

Cascade Springs.
Mrs. B. Z. Philips and Mrs. Oscar
Elsas sailed on July 14 for Europe.
Mrs. Herman Rich and Miss Hermine
Rich of Birmingham, Ala., are guests of
Mrs. Ernest Horwitz at her home on
Briarcliff Road.
Mr. and Mrs. Max Schiff of Chicago
were recent guests of the Georgian Ter
race.
Mr. and Mrs. Donald Oberdorfer and
Mrs. Simon Selig chaperoned a congenial
party of young lolks to North Carolina
over the 4th ot July. The party was com
posed of Misses Dorothy Selig and
Arlene Ereitag, and Messrs* Leon
Froshin, Joe Asher and Harry Van
Straten.
Miss Eleanor VVyle who has been
spending the past month visiting friends
in Rochester, N. Y., and Erie, Pa., has re
turned home.
Mrs. J. Herzfeld and her little son,
John, Jr., have returned from the mount
ains of North Georgia.
Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Ferst announce
the birth of a son, named Harold.
Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Rosenbaum have
returned from Folly Beach, S. C.
Mrs. Sam Kahn who was the guest of
her daughter, Mrs. Sigfried Guthman, has
returned to her home in Montgomery,
Ala.
Mr. and Mrs. Sam Schoen and Mrs.
Henry Gold spent a week-end recently at
Lakemont, Georgia.
Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Oberdorfer and
daughter, Joyce, are spending some time
at Atlantic Beach, Fla.
Mr. Alfred Myers has returned from a
visit in Daytona Beach, Fla.
Miss Jane Meyer, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Eli Meyer, is spending the summer
in Maine.
Mr. Dick Guthman has returned from a
short stay in Savannah.
Mrs. Johanna Goldberg of Tampa,
Florida, spent several weeks recently at
the Georgian Terrace.
Mrs. Hugo Spitz spent a few days in
Baltimore recently.
Mr. Chas. Franklin has returned from
a brief visit in Chicago.
Mrs. Sol Epstein and family have re
turned from a pleasant stay in Florida.
Mrs. Nat Kaiser is now making her
home at the Cox-Carlton Hotel.
Mr. and Mrs. T.eopold J. Haas have
returned from a brief stay in New York
City.
Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Jacobs of Bir
mingham, Ala., were guests of Miss
Daisy Jacobs for a few days recently.
Mrs Julian Slager has returned to her
home in Montgomery, Ala., after a brief
stay with relatives here.
Mr. and Mrs. Morris Hirsch, Mr. and
Mrs. Louis Hirsch and Mr. and Mrs.
Edgar Oppenheimer formed a congenial
party which spent a few days recently at
Lake Tarpin.
Mrs. Henry Solonionson has recovered
from her recent indisposition.
Mrs. Max Samuels and Mr. Irving
Samuels have returned from an enjoyable
stay at Lakemont. Georgia.
Mr. and Mrs. Elsas Phillips were house
guests of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hirsch
recently at their cottage at Lakemont.
Mrs. Walter Visanska and Miss Flo-
rette Visanska have returned from a short
stay at Tvbee Island, Ga.
Mrs. Chas. Held entertained recently
at a delightful party celebrating her little
son's third birthday anniversary.
Mr. and Mrs. Russell Weil and family
have returned from Savannah, Ga.

turned from an extended visit in the East.

open house on Sunday, July 13th, in honor
of her guest, Miss Lena Routman, of Bir
mingham, Ala.

tertained recently at a party for Miss
Ethel Tennerson, of Opelika, Ala.
Miss Lilly Hurwitz and Mr. Harry
Hurwitz are visiting their sister in Nash
ville, Tenn.
Mr. Nathan Crystal of Lake City, Fla.,
is visiting her sister, Mrs. Max Wender.
Miss Becky Weingarten of Florida, is
the guest of Miss Sara Glustrom.
M iss Addie Steinheimer is making a
tour through Europe.
Mrs. Harry H. Epstein and daughter,
are visiting Mrs. Epstein’s parents in
Chicago, Ill.
Miss Perl Levinson, of Atlanta, and
her brother, I. M. Levinson, of Chat
tanooga. left for New York to meet
Dr. and Mrs. Samuel Proger and to
bid them bon voyage. Mrs. Proger is
well remembered as the former Miss
Evelyn Levinson. Mrs. Proger, of New
York, the mother of Dr. Proger, will
also join the party. The party went on
the 16th of July on the Hamburg and
will visit in Vienna, Heidelberg, and
London.
Miss Rachamim Saul, of Asheville,
was a guest of Mrs. Morris Benatar.
Miss Saul was pleasantly entertained
by Mrs. Benatar on the first of July
at her home on Tenth Street.
Mr. and Mrs. B. M. Cohen, of Val
dosta, Ga., were recent guests of Mrs.
Jennie Cohen, of Atlanta.
Mr. and Mrs. Jake Cohen, formerly
of Tampa, Fla., now of Durham, N. C.,
