Eplan took place on the morning of June
26th. at the home of the groom’s parents,
Mr. and Mrs. Sol B. Eplan, 69+ Washing
ton Street, Atlanta, attended only by the
immediate family. Mr. Phillip Eplan,
brother of the groom, was best man. Music
wn- rendered by Morris and Meyer Segal.
Following the ceremony and wedding
breakfast the newlyweds left immediately
by automobile for an extended motor
trip down the east coast of Florida as far
south as Miami. They are now at their
home at 215 Atlanta Avenue.
• Mbs Levinia Dorothy Greenblatt,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. J. Green
blatt, received her bachelor of science
degree from Maryland College, Luther
ville, Mil. She is spending the summer in
Jacksonville, Fla., with her parents.
0 Mbs Carrie Schiff left for Orlando,
Fla., for a stay of several months.

and Mrs. Herbert Saul entertained at an
anniversary dinner for their mother and
father, Mr. and Mrs. J. Saul.

a short stay in Virginia.

from a visit to New York City.
• Miss Edna Klein, daughter of Mr. and

at Camp Civitania, and Milton Klein,
Jr., is attending camp near Tallulah
Falls.

Hr. George Chait has returned from
Jacksonville, Fla., where he enjoyed a

a recent operation.

turned from Atlantic City.

Camp Civitania, where she was in the
capacity of a councilman.
• Miss Mildred Epstein has returned
from Camp Civitania.
• After an extended motor trip, Rabbi
and Mrs. Joel S. Geffen and their daugh
ter, Miss Lisa Natanya Geffen, arrived
in Atlanta for a few weeks’ visit with
their parents, Rabbi and Mrs. Tobias
Geffen. Rabbi Geffen is spiritual leader
of the Congregation Beth-El, of I roy,
N. Y. In Troy Rabbi Geffen is actively
engaged in the activities of the Lions
Club. He is an alumnus of Emory Uni
versity.
• Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Feibelman and
daughter, Natalie, have returned from
Savannah where they spent two weeks.
• Mrs. Lewis Hirsch and baby daughter,
Nancy, returned home after spending sev
eral months as the guests of their parents,
Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Levinson, in Minne
apolis.
• Misses Sylvia and Dorothy Mendel
have returned home after having spent
a month at Virginia Beach.

at her home on Lullwater Road.
• Miss Leila Harris is spending the sum
mer at Trippe Lake Camp in Maine.
• Birmingham Junior Hadassah had a
mother-daughter social at the V. M. H.
A. in Birmingham. An appropriate pro
gram was presented, and refreshments
were served.
• Miss Sylvia Lipsitz, of Birmingham,
was a recent guest in Tuscaloosa, Ala.,
where she attended the graduation exer
cises and dances.
• A wedding of wide interest through
out the South is that of Miss Sylvia
Becker to Mr. Harry Eidex, of Birming
ham. Both are very popular among the
young contingent.
• Miss Rae Filler, of Birmingham, has
returned from a month’s visit in New
York where she was highly and exten
sively entertained.
• Miss Celia Berry, of Birmingham, Ala.,
is in Knoxville, Tenn., for a month's stay.

returned from a month’s visit in Chat

who has been making her home in New

where she is a student at the University
of Georgia, to spend the summer with
