house in compliment to their aunt, Mrs.
Rosa Strauss, who celebrated her eighty-
second birthday.
• Miss Nettie Asher and Mr. A. Asher
motored to Macon for a week-end to
visit friends.
• Mrs. Sig. Samuels has returned from
Milwaukee after visiting her mother,
Mrs. Ginsberg, who celebrated her eighty-
sixth birthday.
• Mr. and Mrs. Morris Solomon and Mr.
Ed. Montag have returned from a motor
trip to Chicago, Kalamazoo and Milwau
kee.
• Mr. and Mrs. Louis Ilirsch spent a
week in New York City recently.
• Mr. Ralph Feinberg and Mr. Morris
Bernard are attending the University of
Georgia.
• Mrs. Rhetta Faber, of Montgomery,
was the recent guest of her sister, Mrs.
Rosalie Brickman.
• Mr. Henry Hess is enrolled at the
Warden School of Commerce in Phila
delphia, Pa.
• The many friends of Mrs. Kurt Hol
land will be pleased to learn that she
is convalescing from a serious illness at
her home on Lafayette Drive.
• Miss Marie Rice and Miss Lenora
Chomsky are attending Ohio Stale Uni
versity.
• Mr. and Mrs. George Gershon, Mr.
and Mrs. Bert Fox and Mrs. I. F. Sterne
motored to Albany, Ga., for the celebra
tion of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Stern's tenth
wedding anniversary. Mrs. Stern was
formerly Miss Caroline Gershon.
• Mr. Milton Weinstein is a student at
Duke Univeristy in Raleigh, N. C.
• Mr. Walter Visanska has returned
from a business trip to Abbeville, N. C.
• Miss Frances Schwab has enrolled at
the Scoville School for Girls in New
York, where she will resume her studies,
specializing in art.
• Mrs. Abner Lichtenstein and young
son have returned from a week's stay in
Birmingham, where they visited Mrs.
Lichtenstein’s parents.
• Mrs. Donald Oberdorfer and children
have returned home after several weeks
spent with relatives in Steubenville, Ohio.
During that time Mrs. Oberdorfer joined
Mr. Oberdorfer in New York City for a
visit.
• Mr. and Mrs. J. I. Bloom and son,
Mr. Walter Bloom, are now residing in
Miami, Fla.
• Miss Rose Newman has returned from
New York, where she was the guest of
her cousin, Miss Mollie Siller.
• Mr. and Mrs. Louis A. Spiegel are in
Miami, Fla., where they expect to spend
the winter.
• Miss F.dythe Epstein is in New York
City, where she is a student at the New
York School of Interior Decoration.
• Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Ochs, of Chatta
nooga, were the guests of friends in At
lanta recently.
• The many friends of Mr. Sinclair
Jacobs will he pleased to learn that he
he recuperated from a recent operation.
• Miss Bessie Getfen has been visiting
Miss Helen Getfen in Athens, Ga.
• Mrs. Arthur Heyman has been visit
ing her daughter in Birmingham, Ala.
• Mr. and Mrs. A. Grosherg and young
daughter, Diane, formerly of Dallas,
Texas, are now residing in Atlanta.
• Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Lowenthal are
visiting their son and daughter, Mr. and
Mrs. S. Schindler, in Tennessee.
• M rs. Arthur Harris has returned from
Milwaukee, where she attended the meet
ing of the National Girl Scouts.
