A Broad, Bold Plot to Incite Assassinations of Leading Exiled German Jews
Exposed by a Strange "Proscribed
List" in a Hitlerites Book

Magazine, of Sew York. The book, “Ungehangt,“ revealed in this article,

Hitlerism announced: “YVe
tolerate no other party. We
annihilate other parties!”
Since the declaration, a book
has come to light which strongly
supports the theory that the policy of
annihilation” in Germany has been
extended from parties to individuals.
I he murder of Professor Theodor
Le"ing, German-Jewish pacifist and philosopher,
in Czechoslovakia, and the flight of Professor
Albert Einstein to England following Nazi
threats, are cited as instances of this “annihilation”
program.
1 he book which lists the “marked men” believed
to be intended for Nazi destruction has circulated
"idely in Germany since publication. A few copies
•uve been smuggled out of the country.
Kntitled “Juden Sehen Dich An,” the volume
contains brief scurrilous biographies of many prom-
■ncnt German Jews who have earned the enmity
f the powers that now rule Germany.
Most of the distinguished men whose names ap
pear in the book are now* in exile. The list in
cludes Einstein, Emil Ludwig, Max Reinhardt,
Leon Feuchtwanger, George Bernard and Ernst

Charlie Chaplin, who is an English Jew, are listed.

leted. Its implica

yet hanged” represents a condition which the Nazis
regard with disfavor. In other words, an incite
ment to murder.
Author of the work, whose title in English
would be “Jews Looking at You,” is Dr. Johann

a neat play on the name
of another volume which sold millions of copies in
Germany, “Animals Looking at You.”
In addition to celebrities known throughout the
world for their achievement in science or the arts,
the volume contains uncomplimentary biographies
of such figures as Bernhard Weiss, former head
of the Berlin police; Grzesenski, another police
official; Kurt Rosenfeld, for many years a leading
