BEANE KEYSERLING
Mrs. Harry Jacobson of Beau
fort, S. C.. formerly of Winston-
Salem, N. C., and Charleston has
announced the engagement of her
daughter, Polly Jacobson Beane,
to King Keyserling of Dale, S. C.
Mrs. Beane is a graduate of the
University of North Carolina and
is a librarian at the University of
Miami library, Coral Gables, Fla.
Mr. Keyserling is the son of Mr.
and Mrs. Israel Keyserling. He is
postmaster at Dale and is asso
ciated in business with his father.
FRANKEL-SHAFFER
The marriage of Miss Freida
Lee Frankel and Max Shaffer was
solemnized recently at the home
of the bride’s parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Mack Frankel, with Rabbi
Harry Epstein officiating.
Mrs. Betty Spicgelman was ma
tron of honor. Jake Shaffer,
brother of the groom, was best
man. The bride’s book was kept
•by Miss Rhoda Bressner.
Mr. and Mrs. Shaffer left after
the ceremony for a wedding trip
to New Orleans. They will reside
at 1179 Roxboro Dr., N. E.

Miss Ida Pauline Goler, daugh
ter of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Goler,
and Ben Gordon, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Harry Gordon, were married
recently in the chapel of Ahavath
Achim Synagogue. Rabbi Hyman

birthday of her father, Ralph
Rosenbaum. Mr. Rosenbaum is a
former president of the Temple.

Mr. Estroff was graduated from
Riverside Military Academy and
the University of Georgia. He is
past president of Tau Epsilon Phi
fraternity and was noted for his
campus activities. He is now in
business in Augusta.
The wedding will be an event of
Feb. 5, taking place in ValdoSta,
Ga. The couple will make their
home in Augusta.

been confined at the Central of
Georgia Hospital in Savannah.
Mrs. Harry Sachs of Washing
ton is visiting her mother, Mrs.
D. J. Boaz in Atlanta.
After ten-weeks’ confinement
at Emory Hospital, Nathan Gold
stein is recuperating at the home
of his children, Dr. and Mrs. Na

turned to Atlanta from Columbus
where she spent several weeks
with her children, Mr. and Mrs,
