SAVANNAH—Mr. and Mrs.
Leo Shark of Bismark, N.D., an
nounce the engagement of their
daughter, Lorlee Gail, to Arnold
M. Tenenbaum, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Albert Tenenbaum of Sav
annah.
Miss Shark is a 1957 graduate
of Sarah Lawrence Cqjlege,
Bronxville, N.Y., and is employ
ed in New York City.
M r. Tenenbaum graduated
from Savannah High School and
received his AB degree from
Dartmouth College, Hanover, N.
H. He is studying for his MA
at the Graduate School of Bus
iness, Columbia University, New
York City.
A June 14th wedding is plan
ned in Bismarck.

Tenenbaum-Kronowitz
SAVANNAH — Bailee Miriam
Tenenbaum, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Albert Tenenbaum, became
the bride of Ronald Allen Kron-
owitz of North Miami, son of
Mr. and Mrs. Albert Kronowitz,
at a double ring ceremony,
March 21, at the Jewish Center
of Jacksonville. Rabbi Sanders
Tofield and Captor A1 Marton
performed the ceremony.
Mrs. Mark B. Hacken, cousin
of the bride, was her only at
tendant.
Kenneth Kronowitz, brother of
the groom, served as best man.
The ushers were Arnold Tenen
baum, brother of the bride, and
Monty Krissman.
Following the ceremony a
seated dinner was served in the
small chapel room of the Center.

daughter Joanne to Morris Cole
man Rosenthal. Joanne’s father
was the late Alex Idov. The
bride-elect graduated from Hoke
Smith High School and attended
Georgia State College of Busi
ness Administration. She is now
employed by the Atlanta Jew
ish Welfare Fund.
The future bridegroom is the
son of Mrs. Charles Abelman
and the late Mr. Aaron Rosen
thal. He is a graduate of Emory
University and was elected to
membership in Beta Gamma Sig
ma, national honor society. He
is now associated with Joe M.
Weinman and Company, C.P.A.

Mr. and Mrs. Sidney I. Rose
of Atlanta announce the engage
ment of their daughter, Jacque
line Heidi Rose, to Dave Wolf
Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Dave
Wolf of Richmond, Va.
Miss Rose attended the Uni
versity of Alabama and Emory
University, where she was a
member of the Sigma Delta
Tau Sorority. She has been em
ployed by the Trust Company
of Georgia.
Mr. Wolf was graduated from
Washington and Lee University,
where he was a member of the
Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity. He is
associated with A. F. Irby &
Co.
The wedding will take place
May 31.
The couple will reside at 1659
Briarcliff Rd. after their marri
age.

Mr. and Mrs. Joseph I. Sicro

Sicro, to Philip Garfinkel of
Charleston, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Sam Garfinkel.
Miss Sicro attended the Uni
versity of Texas, where she was
a member of the Delta Phi Epsi
lon sorority. She attended Em
ory University and the Atlanta
Art Institute. The brideFelect is
employed as an assistant buyer
at J. f?. Allen & Co.
Mr. Garfinkel received his
B.S. and LL.B. degrees from the
University of South Carolina,
where he is doing graduate work.
He is a member of the Phi Ep
silon Pi fraternity.

Mr. and Mrs. Harry S. Wend-
er of Washington, D. C., an
nounce the engagement of their
daughter, Marilyn Simon Wend-
er, to Robert Baer Cohen, son
of Mrs. Jack S. Cohen of Lock-
haven, Pa. and Baltimore, Md.
and the late Mr. Cohan.
Both Mr. Cohen and Miss
Wender attend Northwestern
University in Evanston, Ill., from
which university Mr. Cohen will
graduate in June.
A July wedding is planned.
Augusta Synagogue
On Annual Home,
Garden Tour
Adas Yeshuron Synagogue was
selected as one of the Augusta
sites to be visited by the annual
Home and Garden Tour, at
which time the edifice was open
to the public and guides took
visitors on a tour of the build
ings and grounds. The guides
explained the many interesting
religious objects and features of
the synagogue.
Mrs. Annie Blum entertained
at a birthday party in honor of
her granddaughter, Rae, on her
8th birthday recently.
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Popkin
and Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Zim
merman of Atlanta attended
the Masters Golf Tournament in
Augusta.
Mrs. Dave Levy entertained
at a dinner and card party re
cently at the Elks Home in hon
or of her sister, Mrs. Ethel
Brown of New York city who is
visiting Mr. and Mrs. Dave Levy
and family.
The Temple Brotherhood and
Youth Group were guests of the
Temple Sisterhood recently at a
Dessert Meeting in the social
hall. A report was presented at
the meeting by the recently re
organized Temple Youth Group.
Mr. and Mrs. William Pomer-
ance announce the birth of a
daughter on March 31. Mr. and
Mrs. Harry Levy of New York,
maternal grandparents of the
new arrival are in Augusta
visiting the new grandaughter
and her parents.
