COHEN-BRODY
SAVANNAH — Mr. and Mrs.
Louis A. Cohen announce the
engagement of their ' daughter,
Harriet, to Martin Stanley Brody,
son of Mrs. Bert Fisher.
Miss Cohen is a graduate of
Savannah High School and at
tended the University of Georgia.
Mr. Brody is a graduate of
Benedictine Military Academy
and attended Emory University.
He served three years in the
United States Marine Corps.
A November wedding is being
planned.
COHN-EBERSFIELD
Jacqueline Ruth Cohn, daugh
ter of Mr. and Mrs. Hyman Cohn
of Atlanta, became the bride of
Edward A. Erbersfield, son of
Dr. and Mrs. Morris Erbersfield
of Atlanta, August 16, at the
Progressive Club. Rabbi Eman
uel Feldman performed the
ceremony.
Dr. Erbesfield was his son’s
best man. Usher-groomsmen
were Lawrence L. Cohn, Ronnie
Bernstein, Alan Blass, Barry
Karp, Joel Butler and Stanley
Mislow.
Mrs. Mona Cohn was matron
of honor. Bridesmaids were
Renie Blass, Elaine Libowsky,
Toby Rosenberg and Charlotte
Blass.
Mrs. Philip Haber kept the
bride’s book.
The newlyweds left for a trip
to Miami, after which they wifi
reside at 1693 LaVista Rd„ N.E.

LESSER-WEXLER
SAVANNAH — Gail Lesser,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Solo
mon Lesser, became the bride
of Allan Victor Wexler, son of
Dr. and Mrs. William A. Wex
ler recently at the General
Oglethorpe Hotel. Rabbi Abra
ham I. Rosenberg, assisted by
the Rev. Mordecai Z. Adler,
performed the ceremony.
Mrs. Seymour Sussman, sister
of the bride was matron of
honor. Bridesmaids were Alene
Cohen, Gastonia; Lois Frances
Mirvis, Norfolk; Mrs. Morris
Kalinsky, Charleston; Nancy
Robinson, Sandra Lasky and
Mrs. Ronald Kronowitz.
Arnold Tenenbaum, cousin of
the bridegroom was best man.
Usher-groomsmen were Aaron
Buchsbaum, Seymour Sussman,
Aaron Levy, Edward Wexler,
Jerry Daniels of St. Peters
burg, Donald Kronowitz, Simon
Estroff of Augusta and Walter
Rabhan.
A reception in the Plantation
Room followed the ceremony.
The couple left for a wedding
trip to Florida and Nassau.
ROTHSTEIN-MOSES
Jean Hermoine Rothstein,
daughter of Mrs. Alfred Roth
stein and the late Mr. Rothstein
of Atlanta, became the bride of
Alfred Moses of Washington,
Ga., Sept 6, at the Standard
Town and Country Club. Rabbi
Jacob M- Rothschild performed
the ceremony.
After the ceremony, the bride’s
mother entertained at a wedding
breakfast in the club dining
room.
The bride was attended by her
sister, Bernice, as maid of hon
or, and Nathan Tanenbaum of
Savannah served as best man for
Mr. Moses.
Herman Rothstein gave his sis
ter in marriage, and uslicring
were the bride’s uncle, A. X
Wice, and her cousin, FYtd So
lomon of Washington, D. C.
Mr. and Mrs. Moses left for a
wedding trip to the Bahamas.
Upon their return they will re
side in Washington, Ga.
SEGALL-SINGER
Ruth Elaine Segall, daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Max Leon Segall
of Metter, became the bride of
Donald Ivan Singer, son of Mr
and Mrs H. W. Singer of Holly
wood, Fla , Aug. 23, at the Wal
ton Way Temple in Augusta.
Rabbi Norman Goldburg pier-
formed the ceremony.
After a reception in the social
hall of the temple, the coujne
left for a trip to the mountains.
They will live in Gainesville,
Fla., where both will attend the
University of Floridu.
Zimmerman-Mjlstein
Charlene Zimmerman became
the bride of Martin L. Milstein
on Sunday, August 23, at the
Progressive Club. Rabbi Sydney
K. Mossman officiated in the
ceremony.
Mrs. Herbert Pickett of Cleve
land, Ohio, served as matron of
honor. The bride’s sister, Regina
Zimmerman, was maid of honor,
and bridesmaids were Mrs. Da
vid Rotter and Miss Esther Bry
an. Marsha Zimmerman was her
sister’s junior bridesmaid.
The groom’s brother, Philip
Milstein, was best man. Grooms
men were Herbert Pickett, Mar
vin Buckwald, and Louis Gar-
finkel. Serving as ushers were
David Rotter, Harry Silverman,
Louis Freeman, and Phil Gar
field.
Mrs. Allan H. Cohen and Mrs.
Marvin Silverman kept the
brides book.
A reception, given by the
bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ben
H. Zimmerman was held follow
ing the ceremony.
After a wedding trip to Flori
da the Milsteins will live in
Cleveland, Ohio.
