Ooooo, it really hurts for me
to sjt here and write this week’s
article as it is my last for the
season and when I say season, 1
mean a great one for the ole
men’s league at the AJCC. Well
anyway it done happened to the
good ole Field’s Rats this past
Sunday as the Adlers Battlers
came from behind to extermin
ate the Field’s Rats in a great
hard fought game for the cham
pionship of the AJCC Mens
league by the score of 11-10.
The game went all the way
down the wire to the end as the
battlers scored the winning run
on a bad throw from the catcher
to third base. Well anyhow they
won the game, the score shows
the final, and the best team came
out on top. To mention any out
standing players would not be
fair here as in my estimation they
were all outstanding, this goes
for the teams that won or lost.
For the winners—Capt. Howie
Adler, Soapy Maziar, Roberto
Paller, Stan “the man” Silver-
man, Sober Sobelson, “Little
League” Golub, Kitten Katz,
