AUGUST A—Phyllis Cohen,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sidney
Cohen of Baltimore, became the
bride of Daniel Levy, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Sam Levy, of Augusta,
at the Beth Jacob Synagogue in
Baltimore, on August 10. Rabbi
Green and Rabbi Miller, assisted
by Cantor Lipsickus, performed
the ceremony.
Mrs. Sandra Shapos of Balti
more, aunt of the bride was ma
tron of honor. Elinor Kipness of
Baltimore was maid of honor.
Dr. Harvey Levy of New York
served as his brother’s best man.
Ushers were Dr. Jack Hirsch of
Columbus, uncle of the groom,
Herbert Lang, Bayonne, N.J.,
uncle of the groom, Robert Levy
of Augusta, brother of the groom,
and Martin Klein of Miami, cou
sin of the bride.

dinner dance was held in the
vestry hall of the synagogue.
The couple left for a wedding
trip to Miami and Jamaica. They
will reside at 3825 Meloe Dr.,
Baltimore.
Mrs. Levy is a senior student
at the undergraduate school of
the University of Maryland and
her husband is a senior student
at the Dental School of the Uni
versity of Baltimore.

bert Schwartz, of Atlanta, an

daughter, Ann Lynn Schwartz, to
Stepbra Michael Glick, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Larry L Glick of Hunt
ington, W. Va.
Miss Schwartz attended North-
side High School, Gulf Park
Junior College and the Univer
sity of Alabama. She is now at
tending Ohio State University.
The bride-elect is a member of
Sigma Delta Tau sorority.
Mr Glack is a senior at Ohio
State University majoring in ad
vertising design. He is a mem
ber of Sigma Alpha Mu frater
nity.

returning to school at P.S. 15
this week were greeted by a
principal who is a graduate of
P.S. 15.
Mrs. Molly Kalat, mother of
three, has the proud distinction
of returning as principal to the
school from which she graduated.
She has been assistant principal
of P.S. 23 for the past four years.
She is now the only Jewish wom
an principal of the Jersey City
elementary school system.

of Atlanta announce the engage
ment of their daughter, Sandia
Lee Marcus, to Gary Arnold Sil
ver, son of Dr. and Mrs. Jack M.
Silver of Atlanta.
Miss Marcus was graduated
from the Universiy of Georgia
where she received her B.S. de
gree in education. She is a mem
ber of Delta Phi Epsilon. Miss
Marcus is employed by the Cobb
County Board of Education.
Mr. Silver is a graduate of the
University of Alabama where he
received a B.S. degree in com
merce and business administra
tion. He is a member of Sigma
Nu. he is employed by Coro, Inc.
The wedding will take place
September 24 at the Temple.
